Arizona Draft Horse Show

The Arizona Draft Horse and Mule Association hosted

the 3rd annual Arizona Draft Horse Show

November 11th and 12th

at Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Center

in Queen Creek, AZ.

 

We entered Zetahra, Kitt, Ruby and Charm-N.
We all had a lot of fun.
The Students and Horses did awesome!


We appreciated the opportunity to be in the show
and are looking forward to having fun next year also.

 

 

2011 Draft Horse Show

 

We entered Zetahra in the "Under 2 Year Old Halter Class".
She stood a little better than last year.
Cori and She won First Place.

We entered Kitt in the "Draft Pony Halter Class".
She did excellent.
Cori and Kitt won Second Place.

We entered Ruby in the "Mares Ten and Older Halter Class".
Ruby perfomed like she had been showing her whole life.
She was Great.
Chris and Ruby won Fifth Place.

We entered Ruby in the "Junior Draft Under Saddle Class".
She and Kate were Superb.
The crowd thought she and Kate won First Place.
Kate and Ruby won Second Place.

We entered Charm-N in the "Junior Draft Under Saddle Class".
She and Keara settled in nicely and did excellent.
After some confusion,
Keara and Charm-N won First Place.

2010 Draft Horse Show

We entered Zetahra in the "Weanling/Yearling Halter class".
She was her usual playful self. Cori and she did well.
"Z" and Cori are already planning for next year.

Zetahra placed second.

 

 

We entered Panda in the "English Draft Under Saddle class".
Panda and Cori did great.
Panda was so surprised she could barely
bring herself to accept the award.
Panda placed First.

We entered Jed in the "Western Draft Under Saddle class".
Jed missed his old wagon hitch tremendously.
He and Cori did great.
Jed placed Fifth.

We entered Panda in the "Barrel Race".
She and Cori covered a lot of ground.
They both had a lot of fun.

The owner had purchased them only
three weeks before.

Show-Belgian Unicorn.jpg (27884 bytes) This is called the "Unicorn." One horse leads
as two others follow.

This is a team of Belgians from H Factor Belgians.

This is a "4 Up" team of Percherons. The wagon was just as cool.

This team is from Prescott.

This is a "4 abreast" team of Shires. The four horses are lined up in one row.

This team is from Haviland Shires.

This is a "6 up" team of Clydesdales.

The 6 horses had to haul the wagon and "back up to the dock" for the judging.

It was really neat to watch them all work as a team.

These Clydesdales are from California.
